Meet the team behind Northstone.....

Development Manager

Development Director

Jon is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 25 years’ experience in the housebuilding/construction and renewable energy industry. He has managed major highway, rail and aviation infrastructure projects as well as large and small scale housing developments.

Jon is a low carbon energy expert and a highly skilled project manager with a keen eye for detail.

Design Director

Richard is our design guru and has spent most of his career in housebuilding, designing new homes and developments across the UK for many of the well-known housebuilders. He’s responsible for house type design, masterplans, layouts and landscaping.

Richard is an innovative creator of special places. He designs homes to maximise space and thoughtfully plans all designs elements to cater for the needs of modern living, promising functional and a simple aesthetic that accentuates any space.

Operations Director

Craig is an accomplished quantity surveyor and our Operations Director. He has over 15 years’ experience in a variety of construction and housebuilding companies. Craig is our main link to our sub-contractors and supply chain and is keen on team development and creating new standards.

Craig is responsible for both our commercial and construction activities and makes sure things are done on time and to the right specification.

Kirsty is our marketing expert bringing with her 11 years’ of property sector experience and a keen eye for the finer details. She has worked across industrial and logistics, large scale waterfront regeneration, placemaking and both commercial and residential development.

Kirsty develops and implements strategic and creative marketing campaigns and works closely alongside our sales team to deliver a sales experience with a difference.

Business Partner – People and Culture

Chief Executive

Phil has over 30 years' experience as a real estate professional and has worked in a variety of property sectors including large scale regeneration, low carbon energy and environmental, industrial as well as housebuilding.

He's passionate about creating new places and transforming environments.

Senior Sales Manager

Anita has worked in the sales market for 20 years, launching flagship city centre schemes for a large North West house builder, King Sturge as a New Homes Sales Manager looking after over 10 developments and then directly for Peel Media Ltd at MediaCityUK heading up the residential sales.

Anita’s new role at Northstone is to head up each individual new home site, build a fabulous sales team, assist marketing and lots of selling.

Joanna brings seven years of development and project management experience within the affordable housing and private sector, working in both the South West and North West regions.

Sales Executive - Silkash

Graeme, has over 20 years’ sales experience, joins the teams from Jones Lang Lasalle where he was a Sales Consultant based at MediaCityUK. 

Senior Surveyor

Managing Estimator

Chris has over fifteen years’ experience as an estimator working in a variety of sectors of the construction industry, predominantly housebuilding and civil engineering. Chris has been instrumental in preparing land appraisals and estimating budgets for numerous wide-ranging projects, from small scale build to rent developments to large scale apartment and mixed-use schemes. He now produces all land appraisals and assists with pre-construction planning and programming.

Architectural Technologist

Architectural Manager

Chris completed a BTEC National Diploma in Construction before studying Architectural Design & Technology at the University of Salford. Since, graduating, Chris has worked across building surveying, architecture, bespoke new build property developments and new build rental properties, before joining Northstone as our Architectural Manager.

Engineering Manager

Joining the team in Oct 2020, James works closely with the development team and our site teams to deal with technical due diligence and the initial design, concept and management of detailed technical information from an overall engineering and development perspective.

His previous 25 years’ experience has all been within the North West house building sector, within technical teams working on the land, planning, development, architectural and engineering aspects of new residential developments.

Sales Executive - Keld

Glenn joins Northstone as Sales Executive for our Keld development in Barrowford, Pendle which is now on site ready for the first phase of homes.

Glenn has 20 years’ experience in the property sector and has worked on many residential schemes in the North West including Islington Wharf, Cypress Place and Potato Wharf in Manchester.

Customer Experience Manager

Dan is our Customer Experience Manager and has worked in customer services for the past 16 years across the construction, hospitality and aviation sectors.

His previous roles include working for housebuilders Redrow and Taylor Wimpey and for British Airways where he trained cabin crew.

Contracts Manager

Emmy Martin joins as Contracts Manager and will work closely with the site teams, subcontractors and wider Northstone team to ensure every home is built safely and to programme. She will also streamline processes across all sites to guarantee quality is embedded at each part of the build process.

Emmy previously worked for Taylor Wimpey, where she spent six years in various Production Manager roles. She will be involved in all stages of Northstone’s contracts from pre-production and construction, to health and safety and customer journey.

Assistant Site Manager - Silkash

Supply Chain Manager

In his role as Supply Chain Manager, Andrew will continue to develop a robust preferred supply chain who align with Northstone’s values, as well as managing costs, performance, compliance, and quality. He brings with him a wealth of experience from Bellway, Harbur Construction and Jewson.

Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor, Adam Wade, joins us with 10 years’ international experience working across a diverse range of industries. He will be responsible for the procurement and management of sub-contractors, production of budgets and monthly cost reports and on-going value engineering exercises for several of our developments.

Site Manager - Silkash

John Fernandez has also come on board as the new Site Manager for our Silkash community, where he will support the ongoing delivery of our homes in Westhoughton. John has 26 years of construction industry experience in a wide variety of projects and has delivered high-volume and high-quality programmes in previous roles.

Sustainability Intern

Connie joins as our Sustainability Intern and will support a number of our sustainability initiatives including our ‘Waste Capture’ scheme and ‘Journey to Net-Zero’. Connie will be focusing on the Social Value Framework baselining studies across our pipeline sites, ensuring that every development has a positive social impact, not only for its residents, but also on the wider community.
